Broken Knight by L.J. Shen My rating: 5 of 5 stars My heart is so emotionally invested in this book that I felt it crack, break into pieces, thump wildly with pain and joy and ultimately piece back together. I think Luna and Knight's story impacted me that much more because of how much I fell for Rosie and Dean. L.J. Shen didn't disappoint with the telling of Knight and Luna. Knight is 100% the offspring of his parents. He feels with everything in his soul and loves just a greatly. He constantly fights not only to stay in control of himself and his emotions, but for those he loves. He's breaking hearts and taking names all while pinning for his only love. He's always put Luna in a protective bubble, but what they both didn't realize is that bubble could have been hurting them more than helping them. It's time for Luna to fight for herself. It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover My rating: 5 of 5 stars This was a really great read. I passed through many heavy emotions and a new perspective that, to be honest, still has me contemplative. This wasn't what I expected. Re-reading the synopsis now, it was a great leeway into the plot, but not nearly telling enough for the reader to understand what they are about to endure when they open up this book. There's a lot of sensitive material that I don't feel is often discussed; A lot that is important to be talked about. The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang My rating: 4 of 5 stars Thinking about what I've just read, my favorite aspect of this book, is the new perspective I have gained. I realize that this is the first book I have read where the lead has Autism. For someone who has very little knowledge about Aspergers or Autism as a whole, I really enjoyed getting to "experience" the mindset. I always thought of myself as someone with an open mind, whom isn't quick to judge a person by the way the look and try to be understand of different people from various backgrounds, philosophies and experiences. But I found myself at one point questioning why Stella didn't just tell Michael about her disorder instead of fighting so hard to control her reactions and to hide it from him. The Boy I Grew Up With by Tijan My rating: 5 of 5 stars Tijan has hit another one out of the park. I'm a sucker for the Fallen Crest Series and it was no surprise that the Crew series is going to be one of my favorites. So when I realized this was going to be about Channing and Heather... 😍🤤🔥🙌 Heather Jax is my spirit animal. She's tough and rough around the edges. She's sassy and fierce, honest and loyal to her core. She's one of the strongest female characters I have ever read. She thrives in chaos whether it's at Manny's (the restaurant and bar she's been running since she was a young teen) or every time she's in the same space as Channing. Channing and Heather have been around each other since the first grade. Bad Boy Brody by Tijan My rating: 4 of 5 stars It seemed very long but I didn't mind. It was an interesting story line and I always love Tijan's writing style and intriguing characters/backstories. I didn't mind their insta connection. I felt it was more understandable considering their grief. I just think that it ended quickly and slightly abrupt in comparison to the rest of the book. But I do find Morgan interesting and almost irresistible. She may have connected with Brody instantly but she still had her reservations and was still true to herself. View all my reviews

Dirty English by Ilsa Madden-Mills My rating: 4 of 5 stars Jarring and full of heat 🔥💥 This being my second book by this author, and loving the first, I was excited to dig in. I wasn’t disappointed. My only complaint is that I wanted more! So although it was a full length 220+ pages, (and nothing to complain about) the fact that it ended at 58%, I was bummed. On the bright side, there’s a long excerpt for another one of her books, plus I get to dive into book two of this series! Interesting Storyline from the start. connected and to Elizabeth’ . She has her own set of rules that she follows, to prove to herself that her past doesnt define her. She is shamed and austrosized but fights through her lowest moments.
