I LOVED the idea of it based on the synopsis, but I was almost afraid that it wasn't going to meet my expectations... I'm only disappointed in myself for taking this long to actually read it!!!! Wicked Beginnings by L.A. Cotton My rating: 5 of 5 stars I loved the story line!!! This was my first L.A. Cotton book and I'm glad I read it. I AM DYING TO READ BOOK TWO!!! (I've already pre-ordered!) This book is not a cliff hanger but there's so much more to the story leaving you wondering. There is so much tension ready to break through and drama oozing out of the pages. With everything Lo has had to deal with, I felt connected to her heartbreak and need to self destruct. She fights her natural reaction to turn back to bad habits, but as a reader you can understand and relate to her. She's dealing with the trauma one day at a time and really can't look beyond the next day when it comes to her future.
