Review: Ruin
Ruin by Rachel Van Dyken My rating: 5 of 5 stars So I start reading and I'm thinking... "Okay, I could like this book." ... Chapter 2 comes "huh this could be good". I was interested in the next couple chapters, they lead me into thinking the story is going one way. Nothing crazy happens so I could see how someone might underestimate it. Then comes Wes' perspective and I have that instant sinking feeling.... Crap... My book world shifts because I realize I just got myself into one of THOSE books... and I'm already invested in the characters... so now I just have to grin and bare the emotional tornado that was coming my way. And boy did the emotions come. (FYI high potential for ugly crying) The synopsis doesn't do this book justice. Maybe that's why it packed such a punch.
