Jarring and full of heat 🔥💥
This being my second book by this author, and loving the first, I was excited to dig in. I wasn’t disappointed. My only complaint is that I wanted more! So although it was a full length 220+ pages, (and nothing to complain about) the fact that it ended at 58%, I was bummed. On the bright side, there’s a long excerpt for another one of her books, plus I get to dive into book two of this series!

Interesting Storyline from the start. connected and to Elizabeth’ . She has her own set of rules that she follows, to prove to herself that her past doesnt define her. She is shamed and austrosized but fights through her lowest moments. She’s intelligent and hard working, not taking free passes or freeriding on her looks or others. In fact, she’s the best in a sense because she doesn’t acknowledge how beautiful she is.
Although there was a ton of heat, there were also sweet moments. Declan is the total book boyfriend package!
Sexiest man on campus ✅ fighter **phsyical for sport aka that bod... & mentally for the ones he cares about **( with a purpose and goals) ✅. Intelligent ✅ has a sad past but works hard to make his Mum proud ✅ swoon worthy lines with an accent 🤤✅ A romantic who isn’t afraid to tell you how he feels 💕✅. Commanding and passionate yet compassionate and understanding. 💗... ...💗...💗 ( that was my heart skipping a beat ).

Some call her a bitch, others call her a slut, but as long as she follows her rules, taking control of her own life and sex, she doesn’t care.
Declan has just gotten rid of extra baggage, aka his cheating ex, his focus is now where it belongs, training for fights so he can pay off and open his UFC gym.
While everyone sees him and his twin Dex as the sexiest guys on campus with swoon worthy accents, Declan isn’t interested in one night stands and partying like his brother.
When Declan and Elizabeth officially meet at a party, not only do sparks fly, but the sizzling tension is almost too much for either of them to handle.
While Declan is sure all signs pointing to Elizabeth becoming someone special, Elizabeth resists to break the rules that will protect her from pain and heartbreak. Declan is everything she shouldn’t want; he’s too similar to her past mistake: charming, sexy as hell, a fighter, rich to her poor and (according to her friend) a reputation as a player. On the other hand, Elizabeth being closed off, only interested in one night stands with safe guys, and against fighting/violence, makes her not the best match for Declan either.
But being neighbors and feeling the constant pull is wearing them both down. It’s up to them to decide if taking a chance and throwing out their rules and reservations, is worth chasing the sexual tension they both are itching to scratch.
