Review: Three Brothers

Emotional Rollercoaster is the only way to describe this book.
Chance's feelings were pretty obvious from the beginning. I questioned throughout the book why no one thought to ask why John was the one Scout was shipped off to when her mom passed.
I felt bad for Conn's self destructive behavior that became a virus to everyone around him and ultimately himself. My heart went out to Chase who seemed to have gotten the short end of every stick. Out of everyone, I don't know how he could take on more death when he already lost so much so recently.
The last 50 - 80 pages is where everything turned and while I should have expected it with Nicole Williams' books by now... it caught me WAY off guard!

Shifting in my seat and cringes aside.... it was an interesting read!

Review: Four Years Later

Four Years Later by Emma Doherty My rating: 5 of 5 stars I didn't realize how many times my heart could break when reading a book until I read this one. I felt Becca's pain throughout and although I wished I could have pushed her in a different direction, her path was an accurate depiction of what someone in her shoes would face. Becca and Ryan couldn't be more in love. She may not know what future she wanted exactly, but she knew that as long as she had Ryan, everything would be okay.
