Review: Forget You
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
You can now officially call me a big fan of Jennifer Echols. (If you couldn't tell by my binge reading of her books)
I really enjoyed Going Too Far and wasn't sure another one of her books was going to top it. This definitely made it a tie because I love them both.
Just like Going Too Far, this book felt real. It touched on real topics and situations that happen to many young adults. Her dad's an ass, and I really couldn't stand his personality and I hated how he viewed mental illness. I liked that it was encouraged by the end that it's not taboo to talk to someone about having a mental related problem. It doesn't shy away from talking about sex (not that it goes crazy) and I liked the intensity that rose between Zoey and Doug. Doug is the bad boy who's really not that bad at all which was fun to read.
A couple of the scenes confused me in the best way possible, feeling like I was in Zoey's shoes and jumbled trying to figure out which way was up.
I would definitely recommend reading this book!
