Review: Crash

Crash Crash by Nicole Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I felt such an intense pull to the characters that I could not stop reading! Literally finished the book in less than 24 hours...

I wish it would have divulged more about Lucy's background and the tragedy with her brother in little bits throughout the book instead. I loved her drive and her need to get lost in dance. It was very relatable and her personality was very developed and made me feel connected to her.

I am not a huge fan of Jude's over protective behavior. Sometimes it scared me or made me not want him and Lucy to be together. I think too often overprotective aggressive actions are passed off as being okay and it really turned me off to Jude. I wanted to understand why he was that way and I got it by the end. I was constantly frustrated with his bull about not being good enough and it made me pull towards Lucy more in agreeing that he needed to get over his past and head towards the future. THAT TWIST THOUGH! Just when I thought it was going to be good and happy for the remaining 30 pages... DUN DUN DUN! It definitely threw me for a loop.

I had high hopes that Sawyer wasn't a douche... WRONG! His need to pounce on Lucy whenever she was vulnerable showed me something was up with him. He's so repulsive! I just wish he would have gone to jail instead of just been pranked. But I know that would have distracted from the storyline.

I loved this book (If you couldn't tell by my animated review) and was ecstatic to see there are two more in the series that I can't wait to dive in to!
